Creo que Scorsese hace rato ya debió haberse hecho de un muy buen pata, un amigo de toda la vida, un compañero de proyectos, y de drogas y juergas cuando tocaron, alguien conocedor de su talento, pero también de sus obsesiones, que eventualmente tenga la capacidad y autoridad para ayudarlo a editar. Lo digo porque creo que el maravilloso final de esta pela pierde fuerza por la cantidad de tramas y subtramas que se han desplegado antes. 

b. Serviría comparar lo que era la Nación Osage a inicios del siglo XX con lo que más o menos por los mismos años pasó en la Amazonia por la explotación del caucho (ojo a mi eufemismo). 

c. Eric Roth, guionista adaptador. 
d. Sobre los años de cuidado a su mujer, el personaje De Niro le dice a DiCaprio "No te arrepentirás de esos años".
e. Tal vez Scorsese deba hacer una pela sobre lo que significa para él como director de cine contar determinadas historias.
